Electric vehicles have two charging modes. According to different charging modes, there are two different interfaces: DC fast charging and AC slow charging.
The role of the two charging ports of electric vehicles
Designed as two charging ports, in addition to making it easier for users to distinguish between DC fast charging and AC slow charging, more importantly, it is out of safety considerations. According to the current statistics of actual road traffic accidents in China, frontal collision is the type with the highest incidence rate, the largest number of deaths, and the largest proportion, as high as 30% to 50%. Designing the charging port on the side can reduce the possibility of danger during collisions. Provide users with an extra security guarantee.
When the user is driving outdoors or needs to go out urgently, he can choose the fast charging mode, and it only takes 30 minutes to complete 30%-80% of the power replenishment, and the charging efficiency is extremely high. For daily commuting, the user can choose the slow charging mode to replenish the car's power during the night rest period, which is beneficial to prolonging the battery life.
At present, the two charging modes exist in parallel and learn from each other. It is the most sensible behavior for car owners to choose the charging mode according to their own travel needs.
The rated input power of each charger is determined and cannot be changed, otherwise it will cause various failures or dangers. Therefore, as long as the rated load capacity of the socket used can meet the load requirements of the charger, it can be used safely without causing problems such as overload. Therefore, no matter how many plugs are checked on the query, it is necessary to confirm the maximum load and total load of each jack. Overloading will cause overheating and fire accidents. It is safest to ask an electrician to check it for you first.
