For THE DC charging pile, the DC charging pile is to convert the 380V power supply into the DC charging voltage with large current through the transformer. The charging current can reach 32A, and the charging power can reach 45 kW. Generally, the electric vehicle can be fully charged in one to two hours, and it will not take too long.
DC charging pile is good, but there is a big disadvantage, is the installation and construction is more troublesome. Due to the relatively large charging power of DC charging pile, there are high requirements for power supply, and the transformer is required to have enough load capacity to support such a large power. Many old communities are not equipped with installation conditions because there are no circuits and transformers laid in advance.
However, it should be noted that DC charging piles will be the development trend of the charging pile market. Now coastal cities have begun to lay out the layout and contract car yards to put charging piles into operation. The investment cost of a car charging pile needs tens of thousands of yuan, and a car yard needs to invest hundreds of thousands of yuan. At present, DC charging piles are in short supply and the utilization rate of parking lots is high. Generally, the equipment can recoup its cost in a year.
In general, DC charging pile and AC charging pile have their own advantages, if it is the new construction of the community, directly planning DC charging pile, if there is an old community, the use of AC charging pile charging way, so as to meet the user's charging needs, but also will not cause a lot of load on the community transformer.
